(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Roman Orthodox Church in the southern city of Karak hosted an iftar banquet for elders, lawmakers, community leaders and Muslim and Christian clerics and scholars.
Father Adil Madanat underlined the importance of Muslim-Christian co-existence, which he said, a deeply-entrenched part of the Jordanian culture and traditions.
Karak MP, Faris al-Qusous said Jordanians have long embraced tolerance and mutual respect as a genuine Jordanian approach since ancient times.
