Palestinian President, Dutch FM Discuss Palestinian Developments
(MENAFN- QNA) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed on Tuesday with the visiting Dutch foreign minister Bert Koenders the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the impasse in the political process.
Abbas reiterated the Palestinian side's commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace based on international legitimacy for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
In turn, Koenders stressed his country's support for the peace process and international efforts to resume negotiations in accordance with the two-state solution.
