Qatar- Ezdan Hotels occupancy rate rises by 10 percent


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Ezdan Hotels, Ezdan Holding Group's subsidiarysaid that the occupancy rate at Ezdan Hotels and Suites has increased by 10 percent during the first half of 2015. The increase came in conjunction with the company's completion of the first revamp phase with the aim to promote the hotel services, in line with the enormous development of the Qatari hospitality market.

Deputy CEO of Ezdan Holding Group Nasser Mohammed Al Abdulla (pictured) noted that Ezdan Hotels has completed development operations to seven floors to equip them with the highest level of luxury, aiming at meeting the needs of all its guests.

Al Abdulla said that the first phase of the renovation processes in the fourth floor in Ezdan Hotels, which reach a total area of 11,000 square meters has been completed fully. The venue includes recreational area with a swimming pool surrounded by an area of 3,600 square metres allocated for multiple new services. The area also encompasses a snack restaurant, swimming pool for adults and one for children, playground for children, billiards and table tennis courts, basketball court, as well as sports tent that allows guests to follow-up worldwide sports games.

Al Abdulla added that the second phase is underway including the establishment of a children's indoor play area. The second phase upgrade will include an area of up to 4,500sqm similar to the third phase, noting that both phases are aimed to improve fourth floor facilities such as the supermarket and the health club. The upgrades are expected to finish soon and turn the fourth floor into an oasis of relaxation and leisure attraction at Ezdan Hotels West Bay.

Al Thuraya restaurant at Ezdan Hotels West Bay has achieved a great success during the holy month of Ramadan with impressive turnout of visitors thanks to its competitive special deals that include discounts on the two Ramadan main courses, Iftar and Suhoor, in addition to all types of foods and beverages.

General Manager of Ezdan Hotels Hasib Kayali said that the restaurant has achieved significant success, prompting more than 90 percent turnout. He said that this reflects the keenness of its visitors to take advantage of its fine dining services. He added that Ezdan Hotels has recently opened Al Thuraya Restaurant within its plan to upgrade the level of hospitality services in Ezdan Hotels West Bay to a high competitive level of luxurious hospitality services, reflecting originality that characterizes Ezdan Hotels and the high scale quality of its restaurants.
