(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Alfardan Group hosted a charity Iftar for several underprivileged families and children.
The event, organized at Al Gassar Majlis Tent in collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent Society, was held for the benefit of around 150 people, which was composed of 85 underprivileged children who are under the care of the Society and their respective families, said a statement yesterday.
The activity allowed the children with the unique opportunity of experiencing an evening of first-class entertainment and distinguished hospitality, where they partook of a lavish buffet of gourmet specialties from Middle Eastern and Qatari cuisines, Ramadan delicacies, and Arabic and international desserts along with wholesome entertainment.
The initiative turned out to be memorable for the special guests who were entertained throughout the evening with fun-filled activities in accordance with the spirit of Ramadan. Alfardan Group has always been at the forefront in supporting philanthropic activities designed to bring meaningful change in the lives of the less fortunate members of the society and help them live with dignity and pride. It has an active corporate social responsibility program, which is part of its main corporate pillars and reflects its core values.
