Hyundai Steel aims for USD27.2b sales by 2025

(MENAFN) South Korea's second-largest steelmaker Hyundai Steel Co. said that it will aim to increase its annual sales to USD27.2 billion by the year 2025, Yonhap News reported.

Under the long-term business plan, the South Korean steelmaker giant said that it will push to increase its sales to USD22.89 billion before seeking to make it to the 2025 target.

The sales target is part of its business "vision" to become a global leader in the steelmaking industry within a decade. The vision was unveiled during a meeting in southern Seoul.

The announcement comes after Hyundai Steel completed its merger with Hyundai Hysco Co. earlier this month, raising their combined assets and sales to around USD27.30 billion and USD17.61 billion each.
