(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC)'s Competition Protection and Anti-Monopoly Committee, has joined the International Competition Network (ICN).
The ICN is a non-government organisation founded in 2011.

The network aims to advocate the adoption of superior standards and procedures in competition policies globally and formulate proposals for procedural and substantive convergence, and seeks to facilitate effective international co-operation for the benefit of member agencies, consumers and economies worldwide.
