Qatar- SCH project to develop guidelines

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has announced the start of work on a project pertaining to the "guiding principles for clinical practices" in Qatar.

The project aims to develop 30 guiding principles for the most common clinical cases in Qatar, based on advanced international standards and best local practices in this area. The first phase of the project will be launched in December.

The first phase involves an analysis of the current situation and determination of shortcomings in the existing practices. A committee will be formed, representing both the government and private sectors in the healthcare sector, to take part in supervision of the project.

The guiding principles are expected to help provide patients with the best possible healthcare and high-quality treatment options.
