Dutch PM says Eurozone deal fair but tough


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte Monday said the agreement reached earlier today by Eurozone leaders on Greece is "a fair but tough agreement." Rutte told a press conference that the third bailout for Greece is expected to cost between 82 billion and 86 billion euro.

"The rescue package is possible but it will be step by step. The whole package must be embraced politically. Only then can negotiations begin and these could take weeks," he said.Ø¢' On his part, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, the Dutch finance minister and president of the eurogroup, said talks "will begin immediately on bridge financing for Greece to help cover its debt repayments this summer." He told a press conference that 50 billion euro of Greek assets will be transferred to a new fund to contribute to the recapitalisation of Greek banks. The fund will be based in Athens, he added.
