Lebanon's Intl. Airport records 6 percent growth in passenger traffic


(MENAFN) Lebanon's Rafic Hariri International Airport posted a 6 percent growth in passenger traffic in the first half of the year, compared to the corresponding period last year, The Daily Star reported.

Commercial flights increased by 3.75 percent year-on-year, with 30,835 recorded arrival flights to Lebanon and 15,413 departure flights during this period, according to stats issued by the airport.

With regard to the number of passengers, 3,111,695 passengers were recorded for the first half of the year compared to 2,920,856 for the same period last year, the stats showed.
