(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, on Sunday honoured people and media representatives who participated in the fourth round of Ramdan meetings organised by the Ministry's Law Respect Culture Bureau for the fourth year in a raw during the Holy Month.
In a statement at the ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, H.H. Sheikh Saif said that the Ramadan majlis meetings (forums) represent an important source for drawing up the Ministry's development plans.
He added that the Ministry is using the recommendations of participants in the gatherings to further its goals and strategies for the federal government.
He commended men and women at the Ramadan for taking part in the meetings as part of their interest to cooperate with the ministry in countering social challenges and present relevant proposals to improve quality of government services and enhance social stability.
Preset at the honouring ceremony were Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs; Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services; Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; police chiefs, and a number of senior officers and officials.
