Abu Dhabi inflation increases 1.2 percent in Q2


(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi's inflation inched up by 1.2 percent in the second quarter of the year, with "Restaurants and Hotels" group making the most contribution of 3 percent, according to the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (Scad), Gulf News reported.

The average consumer prices increased by 1.1 percent in June against the previous month, Scad added in its official statement which also pointed at a 0.2 percent increase from April to March.

The "Housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels" group logged a 2 percent upsurge during June, accounting for the biggest increase, tailed by "Food and beverages" with a 1.2 percent gain.
