Kuwait- Security Situation In Control, Top Official Allays Terror Fear


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs at the Ministry of the Interior Major-General Abdulhamid Al-Awadhi has affirmed that the security situation inside the country is under control, reports Al-Anba daily. He was allaying fears of the citizens and residents in the country with regard the so-called sleeper cells and DAESH sympathizers. Al-Awadhi emphasized various security services, including the State Security and Criminal Investigation are exerting great efforts in this arena to bring security to the country.

In response to a question that there have been rumors that sympathizers of the DAESH ideology have increased in several areas and particularly in some provinces, Major-General Al-Awadhi said rumors will remain rumors but "we must remain cautious." He went on to say, rumors are a dangerous weapon and the main aim is to spread panic among people and undermine national unity, he added.
