(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Mowasalat has launched a new Limited Stop Service (LSS) between Hamad International Airport (HIA) and City Center Doha (CCD).
The bus, numbered LSS 777, will run at 20-minute intervals and the fare per trip is QR5.
Apart from the existing classic smartcards issued by Mowasalat, passengers using the airport service can also avail of the 24/7 disposable cards, which are provided on the bus.
The HIA-City Center-HIA service follows a circular route. The first bus from the airport starts at 5am and halts at Qatar Petroleum, Al Bidda Street intersection, Rumailah Street, Palm Tree Island ferry and City Center Doha, before heading to Al Rumailah Park, Al Aqsa Street, Souq Waqif, Table Tennis Training Centre (Ras Abu Aboud expressway) and returning to the airport.
Buses from HIA will be operated until 11pm.
The first airport-bound service from City Center is scheduled for 5.31am, while the last bus will leave the mall at 11.31pm.
Altogether, 56 services will be operated throughout the day.
People availing of the service to reach City Center, its neighbourhood and hotels in West Bay can also avail of Mowasalat's Blue Line and Red Line shuttle services, which are free of charge, for further connections.
Besides LSS 777, the airport is also connected from Doha Bus Station by 747, 109 (Mesaieed) and 787 (Al Attiyah Market).
