Saudi- Centrepoint opens 25th store in Western Region


(MENAFN- Arab News) Centrepoint recently opened a new store in the Western Region located on Ibrahim Al-Khalil Street in Shouqia-Makkah along with another store in Obhur Jeddah which marked the retailer's 25th store in the Western Region.
The 3371 sqm Shouqia store equipped with its gender-wise department (for both men and women) is aimed at targeting customers within the pilgrim vicinity as well as the local customers.
The store opened on May 21 and was attended by Basim Hayyat COC officer and building owner and Najmul Haq the company's GM for Western Region. The store is expected to receive 1500 customers per day.
The 2984 sqm Obhur store is located in the Centrepoint area near landmarks such as Weekendzone and Batterjee Medical College and is expected to receive a footfall of 1500 customers per day. The store which opened on June 1 is targeted toward increasing brand visibility in the Obhur area.
The Shouqia and Obhur stores also include multiple parking spaces for 30 and 50 vehicles respectively.
Vinod Talreja director of Centrepoint said: 'We are keen to expand Kingdomwide in order to target all the local customers and provide them with a shopping experience that is well-rounded for them and their families at the same destination. The market share in Makkah has the potential to expand over the next few years and it is a prime location to increase brand visibility in this area. Our customers in the Kingdom are extremely loyal and encourage us to grow and expand.'
