Dijsselbloem: Major issue of trust remains with Greece

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) President of the Euro group Jeroen Dijsselbloem Saturday said the emergency meeting of Eurozone finance ministers on Greece here today will be difficult and noted that there is still a lack of trust with Athens.

"We are not there yet. Both on substance and content of the (Greek) proposals. There is still lot of criticisms on the reforms side, on the fiscal side," he told reporters ahead of the meeting.

"There is a major issue of trust. Can the Greek government be trusted to actually do what they are promising, to actually implement in the coming weeks, months, years," he questioned.

"Those are the key issues that will be addressed today. It will be quite a difficult meeting," he added.
