(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Saturday the explosion that took place earlier today in the vicinity of the Italian Consulate in Cairo downtown.
In a statement, OIC's Secretary General Iyad Madani affirmed the organization's solidary with Egypt in its war against terrorism.
Madani reiterated the organization's firm stance that denounces terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
He offered his sincere condolences to the victim's family and whished those injured speedy recovery.
The explosion killed one person and injured nine others, according to Ministry of Health.
