Eurogroup ministers adjourn meeting without agreement on Greece

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Finance ministers of the 19-member Eurogroup adjourned Saturday night their extraordinary meeting on Greece for Sunday after having failed to reach any agreement on Greece's latest proposals for a third bailout.

"We have adjourned our meeting and will continue tomorrow at 11 (am). We had in-depth discussions of the Greek proposals. The issue of credibility and trust was discussed and of course financial issues involved. We haven't concluded our discussions so we will continue. It is still very difficult but work is in progress," Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Eurogroup President, told reporters.

On his part, Pierre Moscovici, EU Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, said "I hope there will be an agreement today, I always keep my hope."
