Syrian regime raids Al Bab town in Halab with explosive containers


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Syrian regime helicopters raided early Sunday, for the second consecutive time, with explosive barrels Al-Bab town, located in northeast of Aleppo, controlled by yhe Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL), the Syria Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said.

The regime's air attacks resulted in "a massacre" in the town, killing at least 34 people, while injuring dozens others, most of them were in critical condition, SOHR added.

A fierce blast took place last night due to exploding a tunnel in the old city close to Halab Castle, resulting in serious material damage and deaths following clashes between the regime's soldiers and Ba'ath militants loyal to them.

The blast caused serious damage to the castle's wall, which is included in the World heritage list since 1986.

Meanwhile, in Damascus, a shell fell last night in Bab Toma neighborhood killing at least one person, while injuring a number of others.
