(MENAFN- The Peninsula) QVC eased to a comfortable 45-run win over Force India to win the Gulf Incon Metabo Floodlit cricket tournament.
Put into bat, QVC piled up 138 runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted 12 overs. Kanchana top scored with 21 not out with two sixes and a boundary. Jameel scored 18 not out in eight balls deliveries with two sixes while Mushir made 15 runs.
In reply, Force India batsmen wilted under accurate bowling and good fielding of QVC and were all out for only 91 runs in 11.5 overs. Fazmi batted well scoring 30 runs with a six and two boundaries while Fauzi was the only other batsman to reach double figures scoring 11 runs.
