Kuwait's Interior Ministry employee arrested for unlicensed weapon trade


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Kuwait's Ministry of interior has arrested one of its employees (a Kuwaiti) for attempting to sell unlicensed weapons through social networking websites, the ministry announced recently.

The man was ambushed after being lured to sell a shotgun and ammunition to an undercover agent. Police found two rifles after searching his house, the ministry's Relations and Security Media Department said in a statement. The man was taken to the proper authorities for further action.
