UK's Balfour Beatty forecasts USD231m profit deficit


(MENAFN) Balfour Beatty, the London-based multinational infrastructure group, forecasts a shortage in profit of about USD231 million, following a probe by its chief executive, The Financial Times reported.

The shortfall of between USD184.81 million and USD231 million was discovered across multiple regions related to the group's underperforming construction unit, according to a corporate statement.

Balfour Beatty plc is a multinational infrastructure group with capabilities in construction services, support services and infrastructure investments.
