(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) In an effort to enhance its waqf sustainability, the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, AMAF, has carried out maintenance works to 12 of its waqf assets in Dubai during the period 2013 € 2015 with an investment of about AED1,300,000.
The comprehensive repair and renovation of AMAF's waqf properties included civil, electrical and mechanical works, as well as internal and external finishing and installation of new fit-outs.
The move is aligned to AMAF's strategy of maintaining sustainable waqf assets and endorsing preventive procedures within the highest standards in order to resolve any problems proactively and effectively.
Tayeb Al Rais, Secretary-General of AMAF, said, "As part of our relentless commitment to sustainability, we at AMAF are committed to implementing periodic maintenance and rehabilitation activities throughout our buildings according to the best quality standards."
