Monday saw 31 airstrikes in the region, as outlined in the statement: In Syria, near Al Hasakah, "four airstrikes struck five ISIL tactical units, destroying an ISIL vehicle and an ISIL building." Near Aleppo, "two airstrikes struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroying an ISIL artillery piece and five ISIL fighting positions." Near Ar-Raqqah, "one airstrike struck an ISIL tactical unit." Near Ain Al-Arab/Kobane, "one airstrike struck an ISIL large tactical unit." And near Tal Abyad, "seven airstrikes struck an ISIL large tactical unit, six ISIL tactical units, destroying three ISIL vehicles, four ISIL fighting positions and striking one ISIL fighting position." In Iraq, near Al Asad, "one airstrike struck an ISIL tactical unit, destroying an ISIL heavy machine gun and four ISIL fighting positions." Near Fallujah, "two airstrikes destroyed an ISIL crossing point and an ISIL bunker." Near Ar-Raqqah, "one airstrike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL vehicle." And near Tal Afar, "three airstrikes struck two ISIL tactical units, destroying an ISIL light machine gun three ISIL fighting positions, two ISIL heavy machine guns and an ISIL bunker." CJTF-OIR does not typically report any casualty figures, and did not disclose which partner nations participated in this week's airstrikes.
