Qatar- Astad organises Suhoor for staff


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Leading project management consultancy firm Astad has held a Suhoor in Doha to celebrate Ramadan.

The event, which has become an annual tradition at Astad, brought together 450 professionals along with their families to commemorate the holy month.

Guests were entertained with live music as they celebrated the Suhoor "in the true spirit of Ramadan", according to a statement. As part of the event, a prize draw was held and around 20 gifts were distributed.

Commenting on the occasion, Ali al-Khalifa, CEO of Astad, said: "We are delighted to see our team gathered together on this occasion in such an informal setting. It is a great opportunity for us to reflect on our success and recognise our team as a whole for its devotion and excellence throughout the year. It is also a great opportunity to affirm our growth, stability and the positive direction we are heading in."

The "well-attended event provided an illustration of the team spirit nourished at Astad Project Management", the statement adds.

Nasser al-Hajri, chief human capital and shared services officer, said: "Astad's Suhoor is intended to bring our team together to celebrate the spirit and significance of this month. We are delighted to see everyone involved in creating such a harmonious atmosphere where morale is high, while enjoying a very memorable evening, one which typifies the team spirit we strive to foster at Astad."
