(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of 2014 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee due to defects in the axle of the front wheels hub.
The move is part of an ongoing exercise by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights.
The ministry stressed that it will co-ordinate with the dealers to check maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The ministry has urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
