Microsoft to train Saif Zone staff in IT services


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)The MoU was signed by Saud Salim Al Mazrouei director of Saif Zone and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Jawad Al Redha regional director public sector Microsoft.

Sharjah — Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (Saif Zone) signed a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft for cooperation in the field of information systems and technology development of electronic services and raising awareness of intellectual property rights.

The MoU was signed by Saud Salim Al Mazrouei director of Saif Zone and Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Jawad Al Redha regional director — public sector — Microsoft at a ceremony held at Saif Zone headquarters.

This memorandum will strengthen cooperation in the field of information technology that will employ Microsoft’s expertise to provide the latest technology and practical training to the free zone staff. The move will increase awareness of intellectual property. In addition the new step will boost technical and cognitive support in operating key government service systems.
