UAE- Al Maya plans to expand products from Philippines

Dubai - Paul Raymund P. Cortes who has taken over as Consul General of Philippines in Dubai recently visited the Al Maya Group’s Supermarket at Murooj Complex in Dubai on Monday and appreciated the Group’s role in promoting Philippine food products in the UAE.

Al Maya Group Director Kamal Vachani informed the Consul General about the variety of products available from the Philippines at the Al Maya Supermarkets. Al Maya Group imports a large number of FMCG products from the Philippines informed Vachani.

While discussing with the Consul General for trade promotion activities for Philippine products Vachani mentioned that Al Maya Group is keen to expand its products portfolio from the Philippines. They also discussed ways to further enhance trade between Philippines FMCG companies and Al Maya Group.

Al Maya Group the UAE-based business conglomerate has more than 40 supermarkets in the GCC countries in addition to other businesses.
