Barwani rode alone till Spain where he was joined by his   friend Sayed al Busaidi. Speaking from Iran Barwani said he will be back in Oman before Eid.

'I am thrilled to have successfully completed the trip and want to share my experience with everyone back home. I plan to be back in Oman by July 12.' The avid biker who started his journey from UAE said he rode through countries including Turkey Bulgaria Romania Hungary Spain Italy France Austria Croatia and Slovenia.

'I met people of different nationalities during my journey and spread the message of peace. The trip was very exciting especially with a friend like Busaidi who is as adventurous as me. Our sturdy automobiles helped us cover the most difficult terrains with ease.' While Barwani rode a BMW F800 Busaidi rode a Harley Davidson.

The adventurist who undertook the journey on behalf of Oman Riders said there were only a few instances when they did not use their bikes. 'The only time that we didn't use our bikes was when we needed to cross a sea river or lake and that was through a ferry; else we didn't use any other means of transport' he added.

Last year Barwani made history by becoming the first Omani to travel to 20 countries on a bike covering 20000km.
