Foreign ministry organizes open day for UAE Youth Ambassadors programmer
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held on Tuesday an open day for the students of the 'UAE Youth Ambassadors' programme who will begin a tour of Germany, South Korea and China on 23rd July to 14th August.
The tour of 78 students is part of UAE Youth Ambassadors Programme, organised under the aegis of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
The tour is aimed at developing the scientific, cultural and leadership skills of university students and contributing to strengthen bonds and strategic partnerships between the UAE and different countries of the world.
The open day saw a number of lectures and workshops, including a presentation on the ministry's role, made by Aisha Al Ghass, Chairperson of the Initiatives section of the Strategic Planning and Excellence Department at the ministry.
A lecture on etiquettes and ethics at the countries of the tour was given by Ibrahim Al Alawi from the diplomats affairs section, while Mariam Al Mahmoud, from the Emirates Diplomatic Institute, made a presentation on the role and activities of the institute.
