Qatar- Alrabaa surprise for residents on Corniche

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo's mascots, the Alrabaa, surprised families and people walking along Doha's Corniche last weekend with a special gift of water and dates to break their fast for Iftar.

The Alrabaa, who were stationed at the end of the Corniche near West Bay, were joined by Ooredoo volunteers to distribute the gifts at sunset.

As part of the activity, the Alrabaa entertained children and their parents, posed for photographs and spread joy.

Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director of community and public relations at Ooredoo, said: "The theme of our campaign this year is 'The best time to share our best', and this initiative enabled our team to share a special moment with the community.

The Alrabaa and our volunteers have done a fantastic job spreading joy, and we encourage everyone who sees the team to come and say hello."

The event was part of a series of community and charity activities this Ramadan at various locations around the country. Customers can follow Ooredoo's Ramadan campaign via Ooredoo's Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and the hashtag #SharingOurBest
