(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Four Asians were arrested by the authority concerned at North Security Department for producing and selling large volumes of homemade liquor. During routine patrolling, Al Fazaa Police spotted a man driving a car in a suspicious manner.
On inspection, 120 plastic bottles filled with the illegal brew were found in the car. He confessed to selling liquor in northern areas, after buying them from a house in Mesaimeer. A raid of the house resulted in the arrest of three other Asians and confiscation of the equipment and raw material. The accused were referred to the department concerned for further legal procedures and also to the Public Prosecution.
