Qatar- Tips for safe Eid shopping


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued safety tips on their social media platforms for a safe Eid shopping. From children's safety to online shopping they have covered many important points to keep in mind this busy shopping season,

"As Eid is nearing, the souqs and shopping complexes in the country will be busy and crowded with shoppers. As all members of the family will be going for shopping, it's necessary that we should take care of following points," the post from MoI said.

Home Safety

As the family members may spent much time outside the house, please make sure that gas burners and electrical devices are switched off before starting from home.

Children Safety

Parents must ensure safety of children while out for shopping and should not let them cross the roads alone. As well, don't leave them unattended while shopping.

Proper Parking

Some motorists resort to wrong and random parking near souqs and shopping complexes, which further block the traffic or close the way in front of other vehicles. Some would park in the slots reserved for those with special needs ignoring their rights. Proper parking and respecting others rights will ensure smooth traffic flow for all.

Online Shopping

Those who are shopping online are advised to ensure the shopping portal is verified and secure and don't become victim of credit card theft and other online fraud activities. If you come across any suspicious websites report to cccc@moi.gov.qa.
