Active Energy's Canada head updates on KAQUO venture


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors)Sandford Gauchier Active Energy's (LON:AEG) Canada country manager and a member of the Peavine Metis Settlement (one of Active Energy's partners in the KAQUO Canadian forestry joint venture) speaks to Proactive ahead of the company's AGM. Active Energy owns 45% of the KAQUO Forestry & Natural Resources Development Corporation with the remainder held by a group representing the Métis who are descended from the aboriginal people of Alberta and early fur traders. The forests contain prime mature standing hardwood and softwood species which will provide raw material for furniture pulp and paper as well as  wood chip and fuel granules for Biomass-powered electricity generation.
