Kuwait's global moderate approach extolled - Amb.

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's Ambassador to Canada Ali Al-Sammak reiterated on Monday Kuwait's moderate approach since its inception, based on the tolerant Islamic law, principles of the Quran and respect for the opinions of others.

This came in a meeting between Al-Sammak with John McNee, CEO of the Canadian Centre for pluralism, which specializes in studies and exchange of information and views on the rapprochement among various sects of society.

A statement issued by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Canada, sent to KUNA in Washington DC, said that Al-Sammak stressed that Kuwait has adopted such moderate thinking globally under the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, who was named by the UN last year as a "Humanitarian Leader."
