Taiwanese CPI -0.56% vs. -0.70% forecast


(MENAFN- FxPro) Consumer price inflation in Taiwan rose more-than-expected in the last quarter, official data showed on Tuesday.

In a report, National Statistics Taiwan said that Taiwanese CPI rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of -0.56%, from -0.73% in the preceding quarter.

Analysts had expected Taiwanese CPI to rise to -0.70% in the last quarter.
