(MENAFN- Arab Times) Micheal Uyang had 18 points; Alvin Licup added 13 for Yousef Power to zoom past Kuwait Gilas 76-73 as the PBLK league fourth conference continued at the Khaitan Sports Club Friday afternoon. Uyang poured in 18 points while Licup collected 13 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks for second- seed Yousef Power squad, who won eight of their ten matches so far and gunning for the top spot in direct competition with the top guns who occupy the first and second spots in the Inter-Company group. Briones added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the Power win. Uyang scored six of his 18 points in the final 2 minutes as Yousef Power recovered to pull out the win.

Power led by 5 early in the first quarter with before Gilas went on an 8-6 run to roll back the deficit to four points with 4:12 playtime still left in the half. Power took the lead into the fourth quarter, but Gilas stormed back with a 16-9 run to open the final period at 69-71 and in the ensuing final stretch battle, Licup made a shot that hit the board and as the ball rebounded in Uyang's hands, the point guard quickly flipped a pass to Tao-On who carefully lobbed it from behind the arc for the winning three pointer as the clock counted down to 0.02 seconds, to hand Yousef Power the win at 76-73.
