Etisalat's reaches out to serve the needy during Ramadan

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Etisalat is teaming up with charitable organisations across the United Arab Emirates to help serve those in need during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The company is hosting donation booths for charities including Emirates Red Crescent, Dubai Charity, Bait Al Khair, Dar Al Ber, Al Ihsan Charity, Sharjah Charity International, Fujairah Welfare Association, General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Al Rahma Charity at its branches and business centres across the country.

The move helps the charities to expand their network in order to receive donations during the Holy Month. It also makes it easy for the community to access their nearest Etisalat business centres and participate in charitable work by making their contributions for needy families, orphans and people with special needs.

Fares Hamad Fares, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Etisalat, said, "Charity and helping those in need is woven into the fabric of society. It is part of our tradition and, more so, our duty as an organisation. We are committed to fulfil this duty towards our fellow citizens and residents. In the spirit of giving, brotherhood and compassion, we are happy to work alongside charitable organisations to serve the needs of orphans and the elderly, widows and people with special needs in the nation."
