(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) in co-operation with Eid Charity has organised the 2nd Forum of Trade in Islam, which was addressed by renowned Muslim scholars. HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani attended the forum. Sheikh Mohamed bin Eid al-Thani, HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani and Hussein Alfardan were among the prominent personalities who were present. Around 250 persons attended the forum, which dealt with the history of trade in Islam, its importance and the social role that trade could play to advance the life of people.
