(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Eight suspects, including a woman, have been arrested in connection with Friday's deadly attack in the Tunisian resort of Sousse, said an official here Thursday.
The arrests were carried out in the framework of investigations conducted by authorities following a recent attack targeting foreign tourists, Minister to the Prime Minister in charge of Relations with Constitutional Bodies and the Civil Society Kamel Jendoubi said in a news statement He explained that 1,377 security personnel have been deployed to guard hotels and tourist sites.
Some 38 tourists, mostly British, were killed in an attack on the Tunisian coastal city of Sousse on Friday. (end)
