The new children's Pedagogo is the idea of a psychology major who wants to improve children's lives instill moral values and attempt to modify behavior through the use of music. Now the creator of this interesting and innovative project has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the production and marketing of his idea.
According to the creator Pedagogo's mission is to reinforce promote and . "As a student at the University of Phoenix majoring in Psychology I had a dream of creating something different that could impact people’s life. Thanks to this desire I came up with the idea of . Our mission and our theory is that we can modify children’s behavior through music."
Based on Jean Piaget's constructivism theory the project's goal is to allow children to build their intelligence though their experiences to learn the songs and to put the lessons into action. The themes in these songs include respect love for the poor forgiveness being careful crossing the street and even lessons for children with special needs.
According to the creator "Music is the perfect vehicle for creating strong bonds between parents and children. It has been proven by many psychologists and neurologists that music helps the brain make connections between cells thereby increasing the intelligence. If a child is exposed constantly to music when he or she grows older it will be easier to interact with others and form relationships. Music can do more for children than just entertaining them: music helps them become more independent and self-efficient."
The Kickstarter campaign located at will pay for recording mixing editing mastering artwork CD duplication musicians and the creation of the mascot.
