UAE Embassy in Senegal distributes 800 food packages


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The UAE Embassy in Senegal has overseen the process of distributing 800 food packages to needy families in Gambia, provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in the presence of representatives of the Gambian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President of the Gambia Islamic Union, Governor of Banjul province, and a number of Imams.

Other food packages were distributed to needy families, widows and orphans in the Gambia Islamic Union building. The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation for the UAE's generous gesture and to the Khalifa Foundation, and extended their good wishes to the UAE's wise leadership and its people.

The assistance comes within the framework of the Khalifa Foundation's Ramadan Programme in more than 60 countries all over the world.
