(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) As part of the activities of the 14th Dubai Ramadan Forum, Dubai yesterday launched the 'Health of the Fasting' awareness programme, providing free medical examinations and introducing dental checkups for the first time this year.
Organised by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, DTCM, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, 'Health of the Fasting' this year comprises six pavilions.
The programme is being held for the fourth consecutive year at the DWTC, and is organised by the Dubai Municipality Clinic in collaboration with Digital Conference and Exhibition, with the participation of the Ministry of Health, Muhaisnah Medical Centre and Clinical Nutrition Department at Dubai Health Authority.
In line with the initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, to promote quality healthcare for workers in Dubai, the Clinical and Medical Services Department of Dubai Municipality launched activities to improve awareness and access to quality healthcare for workers within the Municipality and across all government departments, as well as labourers working in private companies and factories.
