Kuwait Ambassador supervises Iftar project in Mexico City


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's Ambassador to Mexico Sameeh Hayat supervised an Iftar project for the Holy Month of Ramadan in the Mexican capital Wednesday night in cooperation with Kuwaiti Zakat House and a number of Kuwaiti philanthropists.

The project has been implemented by the embassy's third secretary Ahmad Al-Jassar in coordination and cooperation with the Islamic Society in Mexico in order to guarantee distribution of food batches to Islamic centers and institutions, in addition to needy and poor Muslims in all cities in Mexico, said an embassy statement.

Holding such charity projects abroad in cooperation with Zakat House and Kuwaiti philanthropists undoubtedly highlights Kuwait's humanitarian role in various areas around the world, it added.
