Oman- Calm holds in MSM30 index stocks

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Muscat bourse was generally calm on the last trading day of June with Phoenix Power Co accounting for 42.14 per cent of the total market turnover. 

The MSM30 index closed the session with a 0.11 per cent decline at 6424.60. The sub-indices had a mixed day. The Financial gauge was the only gainer adding  0.07 per cent to 7740.25 while the Industrial and Services indexes lost 0.12 per cent and 0.11 per cent respectively. The MSM Shariah index slipped 0.17 per cent at 992.57.

SMN Power (+2.92%) and Oman United Insurance (+1.76%) were the top gainers for the day whereas Majan Glass (-7.17%) Al Hassan Engineering (-3.92%) and United Finance (-2.67%) were among the leading laggards.
