Oman- Bank Muscat leads Omani firms in Forbes Top 500 Arab list


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Bank Muscat has topped Omani companies ranked in the Forbes Top 500 Companies in the Arab World 2015. 

The bank was listed 44th in the Forbes survey which celebrates the region's corporate success. The rankings were based on financial performance as of December 2014 and featured publicly listed companies across Arab countries.

AbdulRazak Ali Issa chief executive said 'Bank Muscat is immensely proud to be ranked again among the top 500 companies in the Arab world. The recognition endorses the bank's unrivalled position in Oman as well as the region established by the global best practices. Time and again prestigious global awards won by Bank Muscat reiterate its leadership position.'

In 2014 Bank Muscat topped Omani companies in the Forbes Top 500 ranking and in 2010 the bank had the distinction of being the only Omani company to be listed in The Forbes Global 2000 featuring the biggest and most powerful listed companies of the world.
