Lebanese army says kills five militants in Arsal (Syrian border)


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Lebanese Army killed five militants in northeastern border town of Arsal, while they were attempting to sneak between Arsal and its outskirts, the Army said in a statement Wednesday.

A security source identified the militants as members of the al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front, one of the insurgent groups fighting in the Syrian civil war.
