Mashreq Qatar recognises staff excellence at annual ceremony


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Mashreq Qatar has held its annual CEO's Club ceremony in Doha, recognising the bank's "highest-achieving employees and their significant contribution" to serving its customers over the last year.

Employees from across all departments of the bank were recognised, including retail banking, corporate banking, business banking, operations, risk management and quality & customer service. The award ceremony was attended by 50 senior staff members of the bank.

John Iossifidis, Mashreq Group head of corporate & investment banking who congratulated the employees in Qatar, said: "We strive to offer the best customer experience possible and deliver excellence in all that we do as an organisation. The award winners, who are now proud members of the Mashreq CEO's Club, have been recognised as the employees who received the highest performance rating called 'Significantly Above Target'.

"This rating is arrived at as a result of measuring employees' performance against targets, which was shown through their hard work and dedication. Our staff is the bank's greatest asset € this award ceremony acknowledges our gratitude to the best of the best."

Henk Jan Hoogendoorn, Mashreq's country head in Qatar, added: "We are delighted to mark our employees' achievements. The CEO's Club provides motivation to all our staff to excel. Our aim is to create industry-leading standards by nurturing talent and growing the expertise of our staff through ongoing learning, development and mentoring."

Mashreq invests in employee development through initiatives such as the Mashreq Learning Systems Centre of Excellence, which provides development solutions through various learning channels, including training programmes, seminars, conferences and workshops, structured on-the-job training, e-learning and knowledge-sharing sessions, with specialised programmes that cater to Qatari nationals.
