QIB hosts annual Ramadan gathering for employees
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) hosted its annual Ramadan gathering (Ghabka) for employees at Four Seasons Hotel.
Bassel Gamal, CEO, QIB Group, general managers, Guest of Honour Sheikh Suleiman Al Jubeilan, a large number of employees and their families were present. Gamal said the Ramadan gathering had become an annual tradition that testifies to the ideals of communication and collaboration among QIB employees.
Sheikh Suleiman described compassion as a principle for dealing with people, and highlighted how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) treated his parents and guided his companions to the righteous virtue of compassion.
Sheikh Suleiman urged employees to treat colleagues with compassion to create a favourable team atmosphere at workplace. He encouraged staff to keep treating QIB customers with compassion, which goes hand-in-hand with proficiency and skills and reflects positively on performance while helping gain customers' trust and making them feel at home, thus promoting customer loyalty and sustaining their relationship with the bank. He stressed the importance of observing Islamic values that call for compassion and promote higher human values and praised the Ramadan gathering. The event included cultural contests with the winners receiving awards.
