Turkey arrest suspected ISIL member at Syrian borders


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Turkish authorities have arrested a man suspected of belonging to ISIL as he was attempting to cross the border illegally into the country bound from Syria.

The man was apprehended at the Kelis border crossing, read an army statement published on its official website.

Turkish authorities have intensified their presence and monitoring operations at border posts in order to repel the entry or exit of ISIL fighters in and out of Syria.
