Qatar- Ooredoo team gives gifts to patients at kidney centre

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A team of Ooredoo volunteers yesterday visited Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre as part of the company's ongoing Ramadan campaign.

Patients undergoing dialysis and treatment at the centre were surprised with gift bags brought by the group. Ooredoo's delegation was received by a team of nurses, senior staff and patients from the centre.

Ooredoo has a history of supporting kidney patients in Qatar and, in 2010, donated Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre to Hamad Medical Corporation to provide dialysis facilities for people suffering from acute and chronic kidney disease.

The theme of Ooredoo's work during the holy month is "The best time to share our best", and the visit was one in a series supported by Ooredoo to hospitals, homes for the elderly and children's centres.

Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director of community and public relations at Ooredoo said: "Ooredoo holds a special place for Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre due to our involvement in its history, and we make sure to include the centre in all of our Ramadan campaigns. Since its inception, the centre has enriched many lives on a daily basis and we are pleased to support the brilliant team here not just during the holy month but throughout the year."

The kidney centre offers a modern and spacious area for patients, with 80 stations and 20 private rooms.

Ooredoo's Alrabaa will be seen at various events and locations around
the country with surprises and entertainment for all. Customers can follow
Ooredoo's Ramadan campaign via Ooredoo's Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and the hashtag #SharingOurBest
